ATE Operation and Configuration


Overview
This is an introductory course covering ATE test methodology. The course will cover the topics of Design-For-Test, incircuit test, PWB design guidlines, and functional test methodologies.

Outline
This course includes exposure to Lone Star Circuits ATE equipment, presentations of background material, and operational topics. In addition "hands-on" equipment interaction and troubleshooting will prepare engineers for potential problems encountered in a factory environment.

Attendees
This course is designed for engineers interested in learning about automatic test equipment technology and is provided by a Lone Star Circuits engineer.Those involved in the transition of electronic CCAs from engineering to manufacturing environments will benefit from the concept discussions in this seminar. Those who are challenged with implementing or supporting automatic test systems will leave this seminar with an understanding of automatic test equipment design considerations as well the knowledge to successfully operate and maintain Lone Star Circuits ATE systems in the field.

Results
Each person attending this course will learn to install and operate and maintain the Lone Star Circuits SBC-1 test system. An understanding of basic system design issues will also be covered, as well as some guidelines and approaches for solving system operational problems.
